Position Overview

As an Estimator/Inside Salesperson, you will provide our customers with a professional and pleasant experience, focusing on meeting their needs while providing insight and suggestions for their requests. Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer advocacy and consultation
    • Understand the customer’s business, goals and challenges
    • Provide guidance for the best fit solutions for their specific needs
    • Ensure customer satisfaction by building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships
  • Generate customer quotes, balancing good customer value, industry/regional pricing trends and sustainable business practices
  • Promote and demonstrate a positive team spirit through professional communication and cooperation with fellow employees
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our products and policies
  • Handle detailed work quickly, correctly, and efficiently, following established guidelines

Estimator/Inside Sales Requirements:

  • Experienced, detail-oriented Customer Service professional with a history of working quickly and efficiently
  • Must be friendly and genuinely interested in the needs of others, including the company, its management, the team, and the company’s customers
  • Desire to build lasting customer relationships a must, using a “how can I help you?” attitude
  • Commitment to adhere to established guidelines, policies and procedures
  • Documentation certifying high school/GED completion, or degree from a regionally accredited college/university
  • Internet and computer savvy
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume; ability to apply concepts of algebra and geometry
  • Ability to listen carefully and respond accordingly
  • Able to multitask and handle a large volume of work efficiently

Desired Attributes:

  • Experience in print industry software, such as PrintSmith, Fiery Command Workstation, Printer’s Plan, Pressero, PressWise, or similar estimating and printing apps

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business correspondence and documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine correspondence, speak effectively, and present information. Respond to questions from managers, customers, clients, vendors, and coworkers.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills

Knowledge of basic office equipment and personal computers. Familiarity with software programs such as Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook. Must be able to effectively and efficiently utilize multiple Internet search windows. Individuals must possess the ability to learn and understand new software and other technology applications as introduced by the Company.
